Stay in Arta Terme: Known since ancient times for the presence of a source of sulphurous waters, Arta Terme now houses a renowned spa center specializing in health and wellness treatments.
PROGRAM
1st day Arrival of the group at Arta Terme, welcome cocktail, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay
2nd day – Half day excursion (in the morning) – SUTRIO (8 km from Arta Terme)
Visit to the village, a town famous for its carving and sculpture workshops. Visit the Nativity of Teno, it is one of the greatest expressions of the artistic working of wood, in Sutrio. A work of enormous artistic ability and true ethnographic museum created by Gaudenzio Straulino throughout his working life. Visit and tasting at the dairy. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon free time available for relaxation and spa treatments at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
3rd day Full day excursions KLAGENFURT (AU) – (140 km from Arta Terme)
Arrival in Klagenfurt by bus and visit to the Minimundus and panoramic tour (external only) of the historical center. Lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon return by bus along the south side of the Worthsee, stop at Maria Worth. Return in the evening for dinner at the hotel
4th day – Terme di Arta
Full board at the hotel. Relaxation day, access to the Arta thermal baths (Pools), optional access to the wellness center
5th day Full day excursion LAKE BLED (SLO) – (130 km from Arta Terme)
Visit to the Castle and Museum, stop at the village. Lunch in a restaurant. Afternoon optional excursion with boat to the island. Return to Arta Terme for a typical dinner at the hotel.
6th day SAURIS full day excursion – (40 km from Arta Terme)
Meeting Guide to La Maina, visit to the artificial dam, ascent to Sauris di Sotto. Visit and tasting at the Wolf ham factory. Visit to the weaving workshop and visit to the Church of Saint Osvaldo. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon ascent to Sauris di Sopra visit to the artisanal carving workshop of masks and visit with tasting at the Zhare Beer brewery. Return to the hotel for dinner
7th day Half day excursion VENZONE (30 km from Arta Terme)
Morning free visit of the ancient city razed to the ground by the earthquake of 1976 and rebuilt as it was in the Middle Ages. Declared a national monument, and today the most beautiful village in Italy. Time for shopping – Venzone’s lavender. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon free time available for relax and spa treatments at the hotel. Dinner in hotel
8th day After breakfast, departure for the return trip, to the places of origin
