Sea stay in Grado combined with the Canadian canoe excursion in the lagoon to discover the nature of Friuli Venezia Giulia, totally immersed in the quiet of nature, which sees the intertwining of tortuous canals and streams, and leads to the Marian sanctuary of the island of Barbana, one of the most popular in Italy. Then discover the underground world accompanied by expert speleologists and explore the Merlin Cave in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Starting from the coast, in the background the Gulf of Trieste, you reach the entrance to the cave where the real adventure begins! The opportunity for a beach holiday at 360 °: a stay in the seaside resort called “the city of the Sun” and two experiences immersed in nature, the Canadian canoe and the Merlin cave where accompanied by a professional and certified speleological guide, you will explore the Cave of the Merlin Magician wearing the equipment of a true speleologist!

Prices per person for 7 nights in a Classic Double room with half board + 2 excursions from 1090 €
The fee includes
- 7 nights in 3 * Hotel in Grado in classic room with private facilities
- Half board treatment (drinks not included)
Excursion in Canadian Canoe in the lagoon (duration 3 hours) includes:
- Initial briefing
- Canoe (2/3 people per canoe)
- Equipment complete with paddle, helmet, life jacket
- Professional guide and tour insurance
Merlin’s Cave Tour (duration 4 hours) includes:
- Certified speleological guide
- Caving equipment and safety harness
- Insurance
The fee does not include:
- Transfer from / to excursion departure point (ask for quotation)
- Tips and extras of personal nature and anything not specified in the fee includes
For the Canadian Canoe excursion
- CLOTHING: Swimsuit, T-shirt, sneakers or shoes
- REMEMBER TO WEAR: Complete change of clothes, towel, plastic bag in which to store wet clothes
Recommendations
- Minimum age 8 years (minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
- Prior experience is not required on many of the itineraries
- Important to know how to swim
- Not suitable for pregnant women
For the Merlino Tour Cave
- CLOTHING: Warm and comfortable to be able to get dirty. Heavy shoes, rigid boots or rubber boots to be dirty. Long trousers (no jeans)
- REMEMBER TO WEAR: Complete change of clothes, bottle of water
Recommendations
- Minimum age: 14 (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
- You need to be physically able to climb and walk for hours
- Groups range from 8 to 12 people
- Not suitable for pregnant women or those who have recently undergone surgery
