Arrival in the morning in Aquileia, considered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, guided visit to the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta where you can admire the famous early Christian mosaics (4th century) the Crypt of the Excavations with the beautiful mosaics of the church built in the 4th century by Bishop Teodoro on the structures of an ancient Roman villa and the National Archaeological Museum. Lunch in a restaurant and wine tasting in the ancient cellar. Continuation to Grado guided tour of the “old city” with the paleochristian buildings of the Basilica of Santa Eufemia, the attached octagonal baptistery, the Lapidarium and the Basilica of Santa Maria della Grazie
