INFORMATION ON COOKIES

WHAT IS A COOKIE?

What is a cookie? A cookie is a small text file that is stored by the computer when a user visits a website. The text stores information that the website is able to read on the user’s subsequent visits. Some of these cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the website, while others are useful for the user as they can safely store data such as the username or language. The advantage of having cookies installed on your computer is that you no longer need to fill out the same information every time you view a website that you have previously visited.

WHY DOES YESTOUR USE COOKIES?

YesTour uses cookies to provide customers with a shopping experience that is tailored as much as possible to their tastes and preferences. By using cookies, YesTour ensures that the same information does not need to be received or entered every time the website is visited. Cookies are also used to optimise the website’s performance: they simplify the final purchasing process and make it faster to search for specific elements and products within the website. In order to protect your personal data from any loss or unlawful processing, YesTour has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures.

For further information, please consult our Privacy Policy.

Types of Cookies

Technical Cookies

This type of cookie ensures the correct functioning of particular sections of the website. These fall into two categories: persistent and session cookies:

  • persistent cookies: once the browser is closed, these are not destroyed but stored up until a pre-established expiry date
  • session cookies: these are destroyed every time the browser is closed

These cookies are sent from our domain and are required to view the website correctly and for the technical services offered. Therefore, they will always be used and sent unless the user changes his/her browser settings (in turn affecting how the webpages are viewed).

Google uses cookies (text files placed on users’ computers) to collect and analyse anonymised information about how the website is used. This website neither uses, nor allows any third parties to use, Google Analytics to monitor or collect any user’s personal identification information. Google does not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google, or attempt to link an IP address to a user’s identity. Google may transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where said third parties process said information on Google’s behalf. Further information about Google Analytics’ privacy policy is available at the following addresses: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/

The website does not have access to the data that is collected and processed independently by social network platform operators.

In accordance with current legislation, YesTour is not required to seek consent for technical and analytics cookies, inasmuch as these cookies are required to provide the services requested.

For all other types of cookies, consent may be provided by the user in one or more of the following ways:
